Jenin: Israeli occupation forces raided a restaurant in the northern West Bank city of Jenin Friday evening, as part of their ongoing military aggression on the city and its refugee camp.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that several Israeli military troops stormed the area and raided a restaurant. During the raid, soldiers fired stun grenades at Palestinians in the vicinity of the restaurant, although no injuries were reported.
In addition to the raid, Israeli forces ordered shop owners to shut down their businesses until further notice. This development adds to the already tense atmosphere in Jenin, which has been under military aggression by Israeli forces for 188 consecutive days.
The ongoing aggression has had a severe impact on the city, resulting in the deaths of 44 Palestinians and injuries to dozens more. In addition to human casualties, the aggression has led to widespread detentions, demolition of homes, and significant destruction of civilian infrastructure and property throughout Jenin and its surrounding towns.
