Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces conducted a series of raids at dawn on several Palestinian homes in the villages and towns within the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate. The raids targeted the families of prisoners who are anticipated to be released as part of the fifth batch of the ceasefire agreement. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources revealed that the occupation forces issued verbal threats to the families, warning them of punitive measures if they organized gatherings or celebrations for their relatives' release. The situation escalated when the forces reportedly assaulted Fakhri Al-Barghouthi, a released prisoner from Kober, leaving him with bruises across his body. This operation is part of a broader policy by the occupation authorities, aimed at suppressing and restricting the Palestinian people, as well as the detainees and their families.
