Hebron: Israeli occupation forces arrested 15 Palestinians from the Hebron district early Wednesday morning after raiding their homes, searching them, ransacking their belongings, and severely beating them and others.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, security and local sources reported that the occupation forces raided Hebron city, stormed several homes, and detained a number of people. Media activist Mohammed Awad, from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, stated that Israeli forces entered the town with military vehicles, raided dozens of homes, searched them, and ransacked their contents.
The incursion involved gathering family members, photographing them and their identity cards, subjecting them to field interrogations, and threatening several recently released prisoners with re-arrest. In several homes, furniture, belongings, windows, and doors were damaged.
Additionally, the occupation forces established several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its surrounding areas, including towns, villages, and refugee camps. They also closed a number of main and secondary roads using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
