Post: Israeli Forces Raid Home of Released Prisoner Near Ramallah

Ramallah: Israeli forces early Friday raided the home of released prisoner and deportee Yousef Abdul-Halim Dawoud in the village of Deir Ghassana, northwest of Ramallah, according to local sources. The operation took place in the early hours and involved a search of Dawoud's home. The soldiers reportedly caused significant disruption inside the residence and used stun grenades and tear gas canisters during their activities in Deir Ghassana and the nearby town of Beit Rima. Despite the aggressive tactics employed, no injuries or detentions were reported.

According to Palestine news and Information Agency - WAFA, Dawoud had been deported to Egypt as part of the latest prisoner exchange deal. He was previously sentenced to life imprisonment and spent 22 years in Israeli detention. During his time in prison, Dawoud experienced significant personal losses, including the death of his father and the killing of his brother Ibrahim by Israeli forces.
