Israeli Forces Raid Home, Issue Fine Against Residents in Jerusalem

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces raided the home of a Jerusalemite resident and his son at dawn on Thursday and issued a fine against them.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Jerusalem Governorate stated in a statement that the occupation forces raided the home of former detainees Muhammad Farroukh and his son Fahmi and imposed a fine of NIS1,460 on them. The occupation forces claimed that waste was found in front of the house.

This raid is part of a campaign that has been ongoing for several weeks targeting former detainees by raiding their homes and imposing arbitrary fines for reasons deemed flimsy. Measures also include banning them from Al-Aqsa Mosque, repeated summonses for interrogation, threats of detentions, and revoking vehicle and motorcycle licenses.
