Israeli Forces Raid Burqa Village, Injuring Three Palestinians.


Nablus: Three Palestinian citizens were injured on Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces during their raid on the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that three individuals, aged 17, 19, and 24, were severely beaten by the occupation forces and were subsequently transferred to the hospital for treatment.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Ziad Abu Omar, the head of Burqa village council, stated that large forces of the occupation army stormed the village in the morning. They closed the village entrances, preventing entry and exit, and deployed in several neighborhoods, leading to confrontations during which the soldiers fired sound and gas bombs.

Abu Omar further explained that infantry forces and several military vehicles invaded the village from multiple entrances. During the operation, the forces turned a house into a military barracks in the center of the town and hoisted Israeli flags on it. Additionally, they raided dozens of ho
mes, including Abu Omar’s own residence, conducting searches and causing damage to the contents.

The ongoing raid has also resulted in a delay to school hours, as the situation remains tense in the village.
