Salfit:Israeli occupation forces prevented residents from harvesting olives in the towns of Al-Zawiya and Marda, located north and west of Salfit, on Sunday evening. Several women were detained while working on their lands.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency – WAFA, local sources reported that the forces detained women in the "Al-Ain" area, south of Al-Zawiya, and halted their olive harvesting activities.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces, accompanied by colonists, entered the "Al-Khirba" area east of Marda. They checked the identity cards of residents and stopped them from harvesting olives.
These actions by the occupation forces disrupt farmers' access to their lands, threatening their livelihoods and resulting in significant economic losses.
