Israeli Forces Open Fire on Young Man, Injure Him South of Hebron

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a young Palestinian man on Friday near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, injuring him with live ammunition. His medical condition remains unknown.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, security and local sources said the young man was shot near the illegal colonial settlement of Shama'a, built illegally on lands belonging to the towns of ad-Dhahiriya and as-Samu, south of Hebron.

Following the attack, the Israeli army declared the area a closed military zone and heavily reinforced its presence at the scene.
