Qalqiliya: Israeli occupation forces obstructed the movement of Palestinians east of Qalqiliya and raided two towns in Bethlehem governorate on Friday evening, said local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, in Qalqiliya, eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint between the towns of Jayyous and Nabi Ilyas, east of Qalqiliya. The checkpoint led to the stopping of Palestinian vehicles and thorough checks of passengers' identification cards, impeding the movement of residents in the area.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces conducted operations in the town of Beit Fajjar, situated south of Bethlehem. The forces deployed in the Al-Muthallath area, located in the center of the town, and fired sound bombs. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries from these actions. Earlier in the evening, Israeli occupation forces also raided the town of Za'tara, east of Bethlehem, deploying in several areas. However, no home raids or detentions were reported during these operations.
