Nablus: Israeli occupation forces killed a young Palestinian man on Thursday during a military raid on Balata camp east of Nablus.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, security sources reported that the occupation forces assassinated a young man and withheld his body during a raid on Balata camp. The incident has added to the ongoing tensions in the region.
The director of the Red Crescent Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, Amid Ahmed, stated that ambulance crews transferred a 32-year-old man injured by occupation bullets in the thigh area to medical facilities. Additionally, a 14-year-old child was reported injured in the hand and abdomen, while a 68-year-old man suffered bruises following an assault by the occupation soldiers.
WAFA correspondent noted that the occupation forces stormed Balata camp amidst heavy gunfire. This followed the discovery of special forces in the Maqdousha neighborhood, prompting the soldiers to send in more military reinforcements from the Awarta checkpoint.
