Israeli Forces Issue Land Confiscation Notices in Nablus Region

Nablus: Israeli occupation forces today issued notices to confiscate more than six dunums of land in the towns of Sebastia, Naqoura, and Deir Sharaf, northwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mohammad Azem, head of the Council of Services for the villages of northwest Nablus, stated that the confiscated lands are located in Sebastia, Naqoura, and Deir Sharaf. The occupation intends to use the land for the construction of a new colonial road in the area.

The planned road will connect the illegal settlement of Shavei Shomron with a newly planned colonial outpost, extending approximately 1,500 meters. This development is part of a broader strategy to expand settlement infrastructure in the region.

Azem highlighted that all settler activities in the area are part of a deliberate effort to seize fertile plains and farmland from the three villages. These actions aim to prevent Palestinian access to their lands and further entrench the presence of settlements in the occupied West Bank.
