Israeli Forces Issue Demolition Orders for Agricultural Structures in Nahalin

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces issued demolition orders on Tuesday for seven agricultural structures in the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem. This action is part of an ongoing pattern of violations against the town's residents and their properties.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the forces conducted raids in the areas of Khallat al-Adas, Wadi Salem, and Banias, where they delivered demolition orders to several residents. The affected individuals include Mansour Khader, Dheeb Abdul Hamid Najajra, Ahmed Ali Salah Fanoun, Khalil al-Sheikh, Majdi Jamil Shakarna, and Zakaria Ahmed Fanoun.

For years, Nahalin's residents have experienced continuous violations such as land confiscation, the establishment of settlement outposts, and theft of agricultural crops. Farmers have faced attacks on their land, and the town has seen repeated closures of its entrances since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip began on October 7, 2023. These closures have prevented residents from accessing their lands, while wastewater from settlements has been pumped into the lands and water springs. The town also endures ongoing arrests and raids.

The policy of demolitions and demolition orders persists, with dozens of homes demolished and hundreds more receiving demolition and stop-work orders in recent years. This reflects the occupation's ongoing efforts to tighten control over the residents and displace them from their land.
