Israeli Forces Issue Demolition Notices for 12 Homes Near Hebron

Hebron: Israeli occupation forces notified 12 homes on Monday of the demolition in Tarqumiya, northwest of Hebron.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Bassam Ja'afreh, a resident of the area, reported that the occupation forces raided the Sha'b al-Bir area and served demolition notices to 12 homes. These homes are inhabited, including several multi-story houses owned by members of the Ja'afreh and Qabah families.

Ja'afreh stated, "One of the notified homes is my three-story home, where I live with my family." He further explained that the owners have proof of ownership and that the homes are located several kilometers from the Telem and Adora settlements, which are built on citizens' lands and property in Tarqumiya.

The homeowners, including Ja'afreh, have made appeals to international human rights and humanitarian organizations. They urge intervention to halt the practices of the occupation and its settlers, who are attempting to displace citizens from their homes and lands to facilitate settlement expansion.
