Israeli Forces Issue Demolition Notices Against Seven Palestinian Homes in Hebron

Hebron: The Israeli occupation forces have issued demolition notices for seven Palestinian homes in the town of Idhna, located to the west of Hebron. This development adds to the ongoing tensions in the region, as residents face the prospect of losing their homes.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the occupation forces entered the town and served demolition notices for houses in the western areas, specifically targeting Al-Ras and Wadi Al-Bir. Among the homes slated for demolition is one belonging to relatives of Moatasem Jibril Al-Jiyawi, who is currently detained. The families have been given a seven-day notice to vacate the premises, following a prior notification two months ago about the demolition decision.

In a related operation, the forces also entered Ras Al-Joura, north of Hebron, where they raided several shops. No detentions were reported during this operation, though the raids contribute to the heightened state of alert in the area.
