Salfit: Israeli occupation forces continued raiding into the city of Salfit on Tuesday, deploying throughout its neighborhoods and streets amidst heightened military measures.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that occupation forces raided several homes, conducting searches and causing damage to property. Some homes were converted into military outposts, and a number of residents were detained for several hours, undergoing field interrogations.
The sources further mentioned that several young men sustained bruises due to assaults by the occupation soldiers. The military operations included the erection of checkpoints in various neighborhoods and the use of stun grenades.
The intensified military measures also involved the closure of all entrances to Salfit with earth mounds. Specific routes affected include the Iskaka Bridge to the east, the Wadi al-Shaer road to the southeast, the Khirbet Qais road to the south, and the Hospital-Farkha road to the west of the city. These actions have been ongoing since Monday evening.
