Jericho: Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening demolished several Palestinian-owned structures in the Arab al-Tarifat community in the occupied West Bank province of Jericho and issued additional demolition notices targeting other properties.
According to Palestine news and Information Agency, Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, Israeli military bulldozers demolished four structures belonging to residents of Arab al-Tarifat. The forces also delivered notices ordering the demolition of a number of residential and livestock-related facilities in the area.
The organization stated that these measures are part of ongoing actions targeting the Palestinian presence in the Jordan Valley. The demolitions are causing direct harm to local families and livestock breeders, further worsening their living conditions.
It warned that the continued demolitions and issuance of demolition orders threaten the stability of communities across the area.
