Israeli Forces Install Iron Gate at Nablus’ Northern Entrance

Nablus: Israeli occupation forces installed on Sunday an iron gate at the northern entrance to the city of Nablus, leading to the town of Asira al-Shamaliya. Local sources reported that the installation took place this afternoon at the entrance known as Checkpoint 17, obstructing the movement of citizens' vehicles and causing severe traffic.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the number of iron gates installed by the occupation between West Bank cities, towns, and villages since the beginning of the year has exceeded 20 new gates. Additionally, approximately 149 gates have been installed since October 7, 2023.
