Ajja: Israeli occupation forces today began bulldozing Palestinian land and uprooting olive trees in the town of Ajja, south of Jenin. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that Israeli forces, accompanied by military reinforcements, stormed agricultural lands at the entrance of the town. The military commenced operations to bulldoze the land and uproot dozens of mature olive trees.
The local sources indicated that these bulldozing operations come ten days after Israeli authorities issued a military order. This order required the removal of olive trees and plants from lands belonging to the towns of Jaba' and Ajja, covering an area of 32.941 dunams.
These actions are part of escalating Israeli measures in the Jenin governorate. This includes the bulldozing of agricultural lands, the seizure of large areas under military orders, and continued raids and arrests in several towns and villages across the governorate. The measures are reportedly aimed at restricting residents and strengthening control over the land.
