Al-mughayyir: Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at a school in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Thursday. Marzouq Abu Naim, deputy head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, reported that the forces stormed the village and targeted the Al-Mughayyir Boys' Secondary School. Additionally, a checkpoint was established at the western entrance of the village, disrupting the movement of residents.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the village has been experiencing frequent violations due to escalating attacks by the occupation forces and colonists. About a month ago, this violence resulted in the deaths of the child Aws Al-Na'san and the young man Jihad Abu Naim during an attack by Israeli colonists on the same school.
A report by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission revealed that Israeli forces and colonists executed 1,637 attacks on Palestinian people, land, and property in April. The report detailed that Israeli forces were responsible for 1,097 of these attacks, while colonists carried out 540. Nablus witnessed the highest number of incidents with 402 attacks, followed by Hebron with 340, Ramallah and al-Bireh with 312, and Bethlehem with 171.
