Salfit:Israeli occupation forces expelled several Palestinian farmers from their lands while they were harvesting olives in Yasuf village, located in the central West Bank province of Salfit. The incident occurred as colonists assaulted farmers between Deir Istiya and Qarawat Bani Hassan, northwest of the governorate.
According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the head of Yasuf village council, Jumaa Abdel Fattah, reported that Israeli forces forced farmers to leave their land near the village, preventing them from continuing the olive harvest.
Additionally, a group of colonists attacked several farmers working on their agricultural land between the towns of Deir Istiya and Qarawat Bani Hassan. The colonists seized the farmers' agricultural equipment and physically assaulted them, resulting in bruises.
In a related incident, Israeli forces closed the entrance to Deir Istiya and the eastern gate of Marda village, causing obstructions to Palestinian traffic.
