Post: Israeli Forces Enforce Strict Siege on Hebron, Impairing Palestinian Movement

Hebron:Israeli forces intensified their siege on Hebron, preventing Palestinian residents from entering or leaving the city on Sunday night. The military measures included the closure of key city entrances, affecting both the towns and refugee camps in the area.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, local sources reported that the Israeli forces maintained the closure of the Qalqas access road, a vital route for residents in southern Hebron. This restriction hindered foot traffic for hours, compounding the hardships faced by residents, especially those requiring medical attention.

The military enforced closures were specifically concentrated at the entrances of Hebron and the surrounding towns of Idhna, Bani Na'im, and Halhul, as well as the al-Fawwar and al-Arroub refugee camps. In addition to these restrictions, Israeli forces reportedly assaulted residents, damaged their vehicles, and utilized these vehicles to block roads and intersections, further disrupting movement and daily life in the area.
