Husan: Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinians, including a 16-year-old child, on Sunday during a raid on the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, as they continued to impose a closure on the village for a second consecutive day.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Husan Village Council head Rami Hamamreh reported that Israeli forces raided several homes, searched and ransacked their contents, and detained Mohammad Muhannad Zaoul, 24, and Ibrahim Khaled Al-Shaer, 16.
Hamamreh further stated that Israeli forces continue to enforce a tight siege on the village by closing its main entrance, which also serves the western rural area, particularly at the al-Shouli area. This closure has disrupted daily life, forcing shops to close and restricting residents' movement into and out of the village.
He added that Israeli forces have recently intensified their raids and restrictive measures against Husan residents by closing the village's main entrances, as well as the road leading west to the town of Nahhalin.
