Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinian siblings from the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. The incident occurred on Saturday when Israeli troops stormed the village, raided a family home, and detained brothers Fathi Abu Alia, 13, and Mohammad Abu Alia, 15.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Marzouq Abu Naim, who serves as the deputy head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, provided details of the operation carried out by Israeli forces. He reported that the troops also closed the western entrance to the village, intensifying the situation for local residents.
Abu Naim further highlighted that a group of colonists entered the western plain area of Al-Mughayyir, escalating tensions in the region. The actions of the occupation forces and colonists have added to the challenges faced by the village community.
