Jericho: Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinians on Monday evening while they were repairing water lines damaged by Israeli military operations several days earlier in the Jordan Valley.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Eid Brahmeh, director of the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, reported that the detainees are Ramzi Mahmoud Zbeidat, Muhammad Anwar Abu Joudeh, and Raed Anwar Abu Joudeh. They were detained during maintenance and repair work on the damaged water lines.
Brahmeh mentioned that a colonist summoned the Israeli forces to the site, which led to the arrest of the three Palestinians. The incident highlights ongoing tensions in the Jordan Valley, where infrastructure damage and subsequent repair efforts often become flashpoints for conflict.
