Israeli Forces Detain Shepherd in Kisan East of Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces detained a shepherd from the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, on Sunday while he was grazing his sheep.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a local source reported that Naji Mahmoud Ubayyat was detained by the occupation forces while grazing his sheep on the outskirts of the village. The area is claimed by the army to be a closed military zone.

Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, frequently graze their sheep on lands belonging to the village and near Palestinian homes across the occupied West Bank.
