Israeli Forces Detain Palestinians and Fishermen in West Bank and Gaza

Gaza: Israeli occupation forces have detained at least 30 Palestinians since Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning across the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem. Prisoner institutions reported that among the detainees were a journalist, two women, and several former prisoners. The largest number of arrests and field interrogations occurred in the city of Dura, in the Hebron governorate, while others were reported in the governorates of Nablus, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Tulkarem, and Salfit.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli forces continue to carry out widespread raids, acts of abuse, and assaults on detainees and their families. These actions include direct live fire aimed to kill, holding detainees as hostages, field interrogations, and large-scale destruction and vandalism of civilian homes. The total number of arrest cases in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, has reached 18,500. This figure includes those who were later released and does not account for the thousands of arrests reported in Gaza.

In a separate incident in Gaza, Israeli forces detained several Palestinian fishermen along the shoreline in central Gaza.
