Post: Israeli Forces Detain Palestinian Man and Convert House into Military Post Near Dura

Dura: Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian man from Masafer Yatta on Tuesday and converted a house into a military post after raiding the town of Dura.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that the occupation forces detained Mahmoud Abdul-Muhsen Muhammad Rashaydeh from Khirbet Hariba al-Nabi in Masafer Yatta. This action occurred simultaneously with colonists releasing their livestock near Palestinian homes, adding to the tension in the area.

In a related incident, the occupation forces raided the home of Ahmad Ali Atiya, with the intent of protecting colonists who continue their aggressive actions in Masafer Yatta. The military's presence has increased unrest among the local Palestinian population.

Additionally, the forces raided the village of Kharsa, located west of Dura, and converted the home of Ahmad Ayed al-Shahatit into a military post. This house is situated near the military tower at the Kharsa junction, a strategic location for the occupying forces. The transformation of civilian homes into military posts has been a point of contention and concern for the residents in the region.
