Ramallah: Israeli occupying forces on Thursday evening detained a Palestinian and injured another in multiple military raids across a dozen villages and towns, northwest of Ramallah, according to security sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the sources reported that the occupation forces raided the village of Beit Ur at-Tahta and apprehended a 21-year-old man. During the raid, colonists assaulted another young man, causing him to sustain bruises.
In the town of Kafr Ni'ma, a sizable force ransacked many houses, converting three of them into military posts and blocking the town's entrance with earth mounds. In al-Mughayyir, the forces assaulted a minor and utilized tear gas and stun grenades against the residents.
The situation in Beit Sira was also tense as Israeli troops invaded a resident's house, conducted a search of several neighboring houses, and seized cash. In Kharbatha al-Misbah village, approximately 50 unregistered vehicles were seized by the forces.
Similar raids occurred in the Kharbatha Bani Harith village and Beit Ur al-Fauqa town, where the forces broke into a resident's house, vandalized its contents, and confiscated cash.
