Nablus: Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian man from the town of Tammun, southeast of Tubas, on Thursday, as he was passing through a checkpoint south of Nablus.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the director of the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, reported that the occupation forces detained Ahmad Saleh Hassan Bisharat, 49. The detention occurred while Bisharat was navigating through the checkpoint near Awarta, south of Nablus.
The circumstances of Bisharat's detention remain unclear, and there has been no official statement from Israeli authorities regarding the arrest at the time of reporting. The checkpoint near Awarta is known for being a site of frequent detentions, contributing to ongoing tensions in the area.
