Jenin: Prisoners' institutions reported that the Israeli occupation army detained 580 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank during the month of January, with the majority being from the city of Jenin and its camp.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the report highlighted that around 580 detention operations were recorded in the West Bank throughout January. Jenin and its camp, which has been experiencing a series of aggressive operations for 21 days, accounted for most of these detentions.
The report further noted that among those detained were 17 women and 60 children. Additionally, the escalating field investigations impacted hundreds of citizens across the region.
It was also reported that four detainees were killed during the operations in January.
