Israeli Forces Detain 19 Palestinians Across West Bank, Including Three Minors

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces today detained 19 Palestinians, including three minors, during multiple raids across the occupied West Bank, according to local and security sources. The detentions occurred as part of a series of operations conducted by Israeli forces in various locations.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in Tubas, Israeli forces detained four Palestinians, including two minors aged 16. Kamal Bani Odeh, the Director of the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) in Tubas, noted that one of the detainees was taken to pressure his son into turning himself in. The forces also raided family homes, resulting in significant destruction.

The operations in Tubas were part of a large-scale military effort that lasted for hours, causing extensive damage to property before Israeli forces withdrew from the city. In Salfit, four additional Palestinians were detained following raids on their homes, and the city's northern entrance was subsequently closed, disrupting resident movement.

In the village of Deir Abu Masha'al, west of Ramallah, three Palestinians were detained, including a 15-year-old teenager, after their homes were searched. In the town of Sanniriya, south of Qalqilya, two brothers were detained during a raid on their home, both siblings of Osama Younis, a prisoner recently released and deported to Egypt.

Earlier in the morning, Israeli forces detained six Palestinians in Nablus, contributing to the total of 19 individuals detained across the West Bank today.
