Nablus: The Israeli occupation forces detained at least 15 Palestinians, including a journalist and a woman from Nablus, in addition to former detainees, in the occupied West Bank during the last 24 hours. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission and the Palestine Prisoners Society (PPS) reported that the occupation forces are continuing their detention and field investigation campaigns in the West Bank at an escalating pace. These operations have seen hundreds of Palestinian workers detained and harassed by Israeli police under the pretext of lacking permits. The ongoing operations have involved field investigations, which have recently intensified and have been accompanied by reports of abuse, attacks, and threats. Additionally, acts of vandalism and destruction in citizens' homes have been reported. These detention campaigns and field investigations are highlighted as the most prominent systematic policies employed by the occupation forces. T hey represent a key component of the broader policy of collective punishment, a central strategy used by the occupation to target Palestinian citizens.
