Israeli Forces Destroy Trees and Crops Near Jenin

Jenin: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) destroyed trees and crops in Burqin plain, west of Jenin, on Thursday. Burqin Mayor Hassan Sobh reported that the Israeli occupation forces destroyed zucchini seedlings and six olive trees planted on a three-dunam plot of land belonging to citizen Allam Saeed Al-Asi, resulting in losses estimated between 25,000 and 30,000 shekels, approximately $1,000. Al-Asi had been anticipating the first harvest of his crops.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mayor Sobh confirmed that the occupation forces conduct daily assaults on citizens and harass them through ongoing incursions and checkpoints. He highlighted the frequent presence of IOF vehicles on the town's streets, particularly in the Burqin Valley area near the boys' school, which poses a risk to students traveling to and from school.
