Ramallah: Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished two vehicle showrooms near the village of Surda, north of Ramallah, on Tuesday morning. Local sources reported that the showrooms belonged to local resident Salem Nakhleh.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the demolition is part of a series of operations carried out by the occupation authorities. In February alone, there were 79 demolition operations affecting 156 facilities. Among these were 109 inhabited homes, 5 uninhabited ones, as well as 34 agricultural and other types of facilities.
The demolition activities have been concentrated in several governorates, with Hebron experiencing the highest number of demolitions at 55 facilities. This was followed by Jenin with 26 demolitions, Jerusalem with 19, and Salfit with 15.
