Israeli Forces Demolish Tourist Facility and Residential Apartment Near Qalqilya

Qalqilya: Israeli occupation forces on Thursday demolished a tourist facility and a residential apartment in the village of Azzbet Salman, south of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilya, according to local sources. Bulldozers leveled a 1.5-dunum tourist chalet belonging to local resident Abdullah Odeh. Additionally, a 150-square-meter residential apartment owned by Hussam Abu Al-Sheikh, a resident of Qalqilya city, was also destroyed.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli authorities claimed the demolitions were carried out under the pretext of construction in Area C - territory under full Israeli control. Palestinians and human rights groups have repeatedly condemned Israel's demolition policy in the area.
