Hebron: Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday demolished a house, five commercial sheds, and other facilities in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron. Local sources reported that the forces stormed the town and carried out the demolition operations.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli forces used bulldozers to demolish a 150-square-meter ground floor house belonging to Rizq Abdullah Al-Batran. Additionally, five shops and commercial sheds owned by local residents Fareed Mohammad Al-Batran, Munib Mohammad Al-Batran, Fadi Abu Zalta, Osama Salimiya, and Mohammad Issa Awad were destroyed. The forces also demolished several mobile homes in the area.
In addition to the demolitions, resident Awad Farajallah was detained after being assaulted by the forces. The incident has raised concerns among local residents regarding the ongoing tensions and impacts of such actions on the community in Idhna.
