Post: Israeli Forces Demolish Structures in Masafer Yatta

Hebron: Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished 12 tents and homes in Khallet al-Dabaa, affiliated with the At-Tuwana Village Council in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the At-Tuwana Village Council, Muhammad Rab'i, reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed Khallet al-Dabaa with heavy machinery. They demolished 10 tents, two homes, and four health units owned by the Dababseh family, which housed approximately 60 people, most of them women and children.

The Israeli forces also destroyed the main and secondary electricity and water networks. Additionally, trees and crops surrounding the homes and tents were uprooted during the operation.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh informed WAFA that the demolished tents belonged to the owners of the lands whose homes were destroyed in the previous month. The affected individuals had erected these tents on the rubble of their former homes.

The owners of the demolished structures have appealed to national, human rights, and international institutions for immediate intervention to halt these actions, which they claim are intended to force them off their lands for the benefit of colonists.
