Gaza: Israeli occupation forces demolished the sports field of Battir Secondary School for Boys in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem. The incident occurred on Tuesday, causing disruption in the local community.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Akram Bader, head of the Battir municipal council, explained that the occupation forces stormed the town and deployed around the school near the railway line. They proceeded to demolish the retaining wall surrounding the field and completely bulldozed its surface. Badr emphasized that the sports field, which was built over 60 years ago, has long served as one of the town's key sports and community facilities.
