Israeli Forces Demolish Retaining Walls, Raze Palestinian Land Near Jerusalem

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces Thursday demolished retaining walls and razed a large tract of Palestinian land in the town of al-Jib, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, according to an official. The demolition and razing activities have raised concerns among the local Palestinian community about the ongoing tensions in the region.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the Jerusalem Governorate reported that occupation forces also raided the Salam neighborhood in the town of Anata and the Shuafat refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem. These actions are part of a series of incursions in these areas, though no detentions were reported during this particular operation.
