Post: Israeli Forces Demolish Palestinian-Owned Shack Near Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces on Thursday demolished a Palestinian-owned wooden shack and issued stop-work orders for two agricultural rooms in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem, according to a local official.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Zaki Al-Batma, head of Battir Municipality, reported that the Israeli forces carried out the demolition in the Khirbet Badr area, east of the town. The demolition was executed on the grounds of not having an Israeli-issued permit.

In addition to the demolition, Israeli forces issued stop-work orders for two agricultural rooms in the same area. These rooms belong to local residents and are now under restriction from further development.
