Nablus: Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian home in the village of Furush Beit Dajan, east of Nablus. The demolition took place on Monday and involved the destruction of a one-story home belonging to local resident Ismail Sadiq Ismail.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Azem Haj Muhammad, head of the Furush Beit Dajan village council, reported that Israeli forces, accompanied by a bulldozer, raided the village and carried out the demolition. The house, measuring approximately 100 square meters, was occupied at the time of the demolition. The forces reportedly forced the family to evacuate the premises before proceeding with the demolition.
Haj Muhammad highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by the village, noting that the community is under significant pressure with more than 90% of its homes facing demolition notices. Several homes have already been demolished as part of this campaign.
From October 7, 2023, to October 5, 2025, Israeli authorities conducted a total of 1,014 demolitions in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. These actions affected 3,679 structures, of which 1,288 were inhabited homes, 244 were uninhabited homes, and 962 were agricultural and other structures. Additionally, during this period, the authorities delivered 1,667 demolition notices to Palestinian structures.
