JERUSALEM: The occupation bulldozers today demolished a house, a gas station and a car wash in the town of At-Tur, east of occupied Jerusalem. Local sources reported that the occupation bulldozers demolished a house belonging to the citizen Maher Nasser, and a facility consisting of a car wash and a gas station belonging to the Al-Kaswani family under the pretext of building without a permit. The occupation forces cut off electricity to the houses and shops slated for the demolition in the neighborhood, noting that the aim of the demolitions is to complete the construction of a colonial street in the area. During the month of July, the number of demolitions in the Jerusalem governorate reached 76 demolitions, including 10 forced self-demolitions, 62 demolitions carried out by the occupation forces. The occupation forces delivered more than 13 demolition notices in various villages and towns of the Jerusalem governorate. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
