Israeli Forces Demolish Home of Palestinian Prisoner in Bruqin

Bruqin: Israeli occupation forces on Sunday demolished the home of Palestinian prisoner Maher Zuhair Samara in the town of Bruqin, located in the central West Bank province of Salfit. Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces entered the town accompanied by a military bulldozer to carry out the demolition of the two-story house, while a significant number of soldiers were deployed in the surrounding area to secure the operation.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the demolition is part of Israel's ongoing policy of punitive home demolitions. This practice has faced widespread condemnation from both Palestinian and international human rights organizations, which label it as an act of collective punishment. These organizations argue that such actions constitute a grave violation of international humanitarian law, further escalating tensions in the region.
