Jericho: Israeli occupation authorities demolished four houses and several walls in the village of Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta, northwest of Jericho. Thaer Nojoum, a human rights activist in the Jordan Valley, reported that occupation forces, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed the Satih area in Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta, west of Jericho, and prevented press crews from reaching the area. The demolition included four inhabited houses and several walls, with Nojoum indicating that the demolition operations are ongoing.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the report from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission recorded a total of 684 demolition operations last year conducted by the occupation authorities. These operations resulted in the demolition of 903 facilities in the West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem, affecting 4,332 people, among them 2,320 children.
