Tulkarm: Israeli occupation forces demolished an ancient cave, dating back to before 1967, located in a garden amidst homes belonging to the Khraisha family in the Jabal al-Sayed area of the Dhannaba suburb east of Tulkarm, early Monday morning. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a massive explosion occurred at 5:00 AM, its sound reverberating throughout the city, its suburbs, and its two refugee camps. Several nearby homes were damaged, with windows and doors shattered, roof tiles damaged, and leaves falling from trees due to the force of the blast. No injuries were reported. Local resident Ibrahim Khraisha told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces raided his home and the homes of his siblings, Omar and Muhammad Khraisha, at midnight, detaining the residents for more than three hours before forcing them to leave. The forces claimed they were going to conduct a controlled explosion in the garden and that the residents could return home after hearing the explosion. He added that the s oldiers conducted extensive searches of the houses and surrounding areas, accompanied by police dogs, and arrested his son, Khalil Ibrahim Khraisha, 26, a veterinarian, taking him to an unknown location. This attack comes as part of the ongoing aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its two refugee camps, Tulkarm and Nur Shams, now in its 295th consecutive day. The area is under heavy military reinforcement and a siege that prevents residents from reaching their homes, amidst continuous gunfire.
