Qalqilya: Israeli occupation forces have transformed a residential house into a military post in Kafr Qaddum, a village east of Qalqilya, after evicting the Ahmad Barham family.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that the forces conducted raids on several homes, causing damage to property. The raids affected the homes of Zafer Barham, Rami Obeid, and Hikmat Shteiwi. During these operations, nine young men were detained and interrogated before being released. The raids extended over a period of about four hours.
In another ongoing measure, the occupation forces have maintained a closure of the entrance to the village of Funduq-Hajja, utilizing an iron gate for the last six months. This closure compels residents to use alternative routes to access their homes and other destinations. The blocked entrance serves as a critical road linking the villages of Hajja, Baqa al-Hatab, Sir, and Funduq, and is a daily route for thousands of residents.
