Post: Israeli Forces Continue Isolation of 12 Villages South of Hebron for Third Day

Hebron:Israeli occupation forces have maintained a blockade on 12 villages and hamlets in the Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron, for the third consecutive day.

According to Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA – English, the Israeli forces have blocked the main road by closing an iron gate, isolating the communities of al-Zuweidin, al-Najada, al-Kaabneh, and Hameida, among others. This action has left these villages besieged and disconnected from essential services.

The closure has severely impacted residents, cutting off the hamlets of al-Fakheit, Mughayer al-Obeid, al-Tabbana, and al-Thaala. Educational disruptions are significant, with approximately 50 teachers unable to access schools. Additionally, dozens of patients requiring daily medical care face life-threatening challenges as they cannot reach hospitals and medical centers.

The blockade has also resulted in substantial losses for the agricultural sector and livestock breeders, who are unable to access markets or obtain necessary supplies like feed and veterinary medicines for their sheep.
