Israeli Forces Conduct Vehicle Seizures Near Ramallah

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces on Thursday seized several vehicles from Turmusayya town, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources. They reported that the occupying forces entered the town and took over at least three vehicles.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the gun-toting soldiers also smashed the windows of Palestinian-licensed vehicles parked on the roadside in Ajjul village, northwest of Ramallah. These actions are part of a pattern where Israeli forces frequently raid Palestinian areas almost daily across the West Bank under the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians, often leading to clashes with residents.

These raids occur even in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority and are conducted without the need for a search warrant, reflecting the military's sweeping powers. Under Israeli military law, army commanders hold full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank, without Palestinian input on how this authority is wielded.
