Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces Thursday seized a vehicle and a sum of money from a citizen from Bethlehem and raided homes in the western village of Husan. Security sources told WAFA correspondent that the occupation forces seized a vehicle and 1,000 Jordanian dinars from Ibrahim Awad Masalma while he was at the "Container" checkpoint, northeast of Bethlehem. They detained him for a period of time and then released him.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local and security sources reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed Husan after midnight last night. The forces positioned themselves in various neighborhoods and streets, deploying dozens of soldiers throughout the area. They conducted a large-scale raid on citizens' homes, searching and ransacking their contents, while subjecting residents to interrogations, some of which included physical assault.
Despite the intensity of the raid, no detentions were reported. This incident follows a similar operation that occurred the day before, when Israeli occupation forces raided several homes in Husan, conducted searches, ransacked the interiors, and assaulted the residents.
