Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday evening stormed the entrance of the Kalandia refugee camp, north of the occupied West Bank city of Jerusalem. A convoy of army vehicles entered Al-Quds Street, where soldiers deployed and fired canisters, assaulting several Palestinians.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the forces also raided Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, deploying heavily and firing tear gas canisters at residents. The soldiers arrived at the family house of Walid Mohammed Sabarneh, using machinery to create holes in the walls for an expected demolition.
The Sabarneh family had been given a demolition order last December. Walid Mohammed Sabarneh was one of two Palestinians killed last November near the Gush Etzion illegal colony, south of Bethlehem.
